Gary Hartge started playing guitar in junior high school while also playing trumpet. His senior year in high school he abandoned the trumpet to focus on playing guitar in the school's jazz band. Gary’s main focus is contemporary Christian music and his rekindled love of jazz. His main influences are John Lee Hooker, Freddie King, Albert King, Johnny Winter, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmy Page, Al DiMeola, and Brian Setzer and the many unknown guitar giants that reside in his mind’s ear.
